About Me

My Background + Approach

I received a masters in Social Work from New York University, with a specialization in mental health treatment and addiction intervention.

Utilizing psychodynamic and relational psychoanalytic techniques, as well as a strength based and a culturally inclusive approach, I work alongside clients in individual and group settings – navigating their past and present, relationships with other and self, while constructing their future in an intentional way.

Philanthropy & Community Wellness

My philanthropic work has included mentorship with young women of color, various initiatives through my membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, and project coordination and educational fundraising for youth in Uganda.

In 2017, I founded a cultural society for women of color, Folk ,that caters to expression, community building and cultural celebration.

Creativity

I’m an artist at my core! I freelance as a graphic design artist, as well as a website designer. And you guessed it- I created this site as well.

In addition to my artistic pursuits, I engage in wedding and event planning.
